Implementation of climate mitigation measures in collaboration with the textile/RMG industry in Bangladesh

Objectives: The main objective of the tender is to implement climate mitigation measures in collaboration with the textile and RMG industry in Bangladesh, aligning the industry with EU sustainability requirements. The project aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at the factory level by capacitating local consulting firms, selecting committed factories, developing and implementing climate mitigation strategies, and connecting the factory interventions to the policy level. The project will work closely with both public and private stakeholders, aiming for a modernization of the industry that meets international standards and fosters sustainable economic development.
