SC 124395 IND: Horticulture and Value Chain Expert for cluster-based integrated horticulture farming and business (incl. floriculture)

Objectives: The consultancy's main goal is to offer technical expertise and support state governments in India, particularly in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Orissa, and Rajasthan, in the field of agribusiness, horticulture, including floriculture, and allied activities. The consultant will engage in consultations with relevant departments and officials to gather primary inputs and conduct detailed desk research on various regional schemes and projects. They will assess current gaps and contribute to the preparation of concept notes and project preparation reports (PPRs), addressing any feedback received. The consultant will also aid in the preparation of presentation materials for internal clearances, participate in Asian Development Bank (ADB) missions, and ensure effective communication between the client and the ADB.
