RFP 2025.05 Consultancy landscape report on key market and health system barriers and proven innovative solutions in optimizing procurement and delivery for maternal and newborn health (MNH) products. If Bidder experience difficulties in accessing the RFP documents after having registered and expressed interest, please send an email to: unitaid-rfp@who.int Objective of the consultancy: To identify a suitable provider with relevant experience to develop a landscape report detailing the key market and health systems barriers that are limiting accesses to quality MNH products, as well as proven, affordable and cost-effective innovative models/solutions that have been utilized to optimize procurement and delivery of these products. Qualification of Firm and Consultants: The firm and proposed evaluation team should meet the following skills, technical qualifications and experience. Essential qualification and experience requirements A. The firm should have demonstrated extensive experience working in LMICs in areas of health commodities procurement, forecasting and budgeting, and supply chain management. B. The proposed team working on the project should have demonstrated extensive experience in the following requirements (one team member may possess more than one of the listed requirements): 1. At least one member with advanced level university degree in business and or public health or the equivalent, with minimum of 8 years’ work experience in global public health. 2. At least one member with 8 years’ experience working on procurement, market shaping or supply chain management, with focus on low- and middle-income country settings. 3. At least one member with experience working directly with countries to support MNH products demand estimation, budgeting and procurement. 4. At least one member with 8 years’ experience in conducting landscaping work and developing technical reports, and other communication materials for a range of audiences and public dissemination, with a proven capacity to translate complex technical content into a simple narrative and key messages. 5. Have existing relationships within key government and other stakeholders in the health commodities procurement space i.e through existing or past projects. Desirable experience C. Working knowledge of Unitaid and the World Health Organization Bidders are invited to submit a proposal for the above-mentioned RFP in accordance with the documents attached in the "Tender Document" tab. Proposals must be submitted via UNGM, through the “RFP documents” tab and upload documents in “My Tender Return” no later than 17:00 hours Geneva time on 21 May 2025. Given the time constraints, extension of tender closing date may not be feasible at this juncture. Bidders are encouraged to plan and submit the proposals by this closing date.
