Project Description:
The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (the CCCCC) has received financing from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) for the purpose of implementing the project “BHS-008: Enhancing the Capacity of The Bahamas for Direct Access to Climate Finance” and intends to apply a part of the proceeds towards payments for the Contract “Development and Piloting of Energy Audit Framework for MSMEs in The Bahamas”.
General Objective
To support MSMEs in The Bahamas in improving energy efficiency and renewable energy adoption by developing an energy audit framework and piloting its implementation.
Specific Objective/Purpose:
• Develop/adopt a standardized methodology/framework for MSME energy audits.
• Conduct energy audits for 40 MSMEs.
• Develop a roadmap and financing strategy to facilitate MSME access to funding for energy efficiency and renewable energy.
