Objectives: The SKALA Program, supported by Australian investment, seeks to strengthen Indonesia's decentralized government system to address regional disparities in development. This initiative focuses on enhancing service delivery in Indonesia by fostering collaboration between national and subnational government stakeholders. It is guided by three main pillars: creating a robust enabling environment at the national level for sub-national service delivery, improving governance at the regional level, and ensuring greater inclusivity for women, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups. The program operates out of Jakarta and in several Indonesian provinces, emphasizing public financial management, service standards, data analysis, and gender equality and social inclusion.
