Removal of PCB waste from Montenegro

Objectives: The primary objective of this tender is the environmentally sound disposal and decontamination of approximately 339.0 tons of PCB-containing equipment in Montenegro. This action forms a part of the country's commitment under the Stockholm Convention on POPs to eliminate hazardous PCB waste, safeguarding both human health and the environment. The tender requires compliance with both the Basel and Stockholm Conventions, alongside national regulatory frameworks, ensuring the safe management, transport, and final elimination of PCBs from electrical equipment. Submissions will involve draining, repackaging, safekeeping, and the issuance of relevant compliance certificates post-disposal.
