INVITATION TO BID

Supply of Audio and Video Systems with Installation and Commissioning in Prison Academy for Research and Training in Correction at Angunakolapelessa in Sri Lanka.

UNDP Sri Lanka’s Flagship Portfolio on SDG16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions integrates governance and peace-building initiatives, including the Support to Justice Sector Project - JURE. Launched in 2022 with funding from the European Union and in collaboration with UNICEF and the Ministry of Justice, JURE aims to enhance access to justice, and support reformation of the justice sector through innovation and digital transformation. The project prioritizes provision of legal aid, gender equality, public participation, data-driven decision-making, and technology-driven solutions.

As part of these efforts, the enhancement of audio-visual facilities of Centre for Research and Training in Corrections at Department of Prison has been identified as a strategy to enhance the professional capacity development of prison officers attached to Department of Prisons. The main purpose of this intervention is to create a more conductive leaning environment within the Center. This component basically involves with the enhancement of audio and video facilities of multi-functional auditorium , computer laboratory and lecture hall in the Centre for Research and Training in Corrections at Angunakolapalassa in Sri Lanka.

In this regard United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Sri Lanka wishes to call for Invitation To Bid from qualified service providers to provide a Bid for Supply, Installation, Commissioning of Audio and Video Systems at Centre for Research and Training in Corrections at Angunakolapalassa in Sri Lanka.

This tender comprised of two LOTs.

LOT 1- To supply, install and commission of audio and video systems for the Lecture Hall and Computer Laboratory at the Prison Academy for Research and Training in Correction, located in Angunakolapelessa, Sri Lanka

LOT 2- To supply, install and commission of audio and video system for the Multifunctional Auditorium at the Prison Academy for Research and Training in Correction, located in Angunakolapelessa, Sri Lanka.

Site Inspection : A group site inspection will be held as follows: Time and time zone: 10.30am (Sri Lanka Time) Date : 12 August 2025 Location : Prison Academy for Research and Training in Correction, Angunakolapelessa, Sri Lanka.
