United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Syria, seeks the interest of qualified vendors and Service Providers to participate in an upcoming tender solicitation for the Restoration of Access between Mhardeh and Helfaya cities and Connectivity to wastewater network in Helfaya city, Hama Governorate, Syria. The project is aimed to enhance social cohesion, and improve connectivity, urban functionality and living conditions for conflict-affected populations including those returning and those that remained in Mhardeh and Talbuseh towns, through rehabilitation of the connecting road between the two towns, and rehabilitation of wastewater pipes in Helfaya town. The scope of works shall include but not limited to: • Removal of debris from the site to the assigned dump by municipality. • Installation of concrete curbstone of approx cement ratio 350kg/m3 and high resistance of approx 220 kg/cm2. • Installation of side walk cement tiles including casting concrete. • Supply and cast reinforcement concrete of approx cement ratio 350 kg/m3 and steel ratio approx 110 kg/m3 for concrete benches with plastering. • Excavation works and spreading sand layer beneath, above and around the pipes. • Supply and installation of solar-powered street lights of approx 60 watt capacity complete set, including lithium battery, metal pole of approx 8mr high, holder arm, insulation for battery against heat, moisture and dust, excavate and cast reinforced concrete foundation, metal base, fixation, all metal works, paint etc. • Supply and installation of bell-shaped concrete pipes with a diameter of approx 400 mm and 500mm • Construction of concrete inspection room made of plain concrete with internal dimensions of approx 90 × 100 cm and approx 90 × 130 cm. Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. The complete detail of the requirement will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not therefore automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for issuance of the solicitation documents. Only vendors who, in the UN's sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the EOI submissions, may receive the final tender solicitation documents. UNON invites companies to express their interest by filling out the vendor response form in UNGM.
