Following the severe drought of 2010- 2011 in the Horn of Africa (HoA) region, the DRSLP Program, a multi-phased, multi-national investment program designed to address the negative impact of recurrent drought in the HoA. DRSLP II Somalia was among the 2nd generation of investment operations approved by the Bank in November 2014 under the DRSLP.
