The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is conducting market research to support the USDA/ARS/SEA, Genetics and Sustainable Agriculture Research Unit, Mississippi State, MS location. The anticipated North American Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing.

Submission Instructions: Interested vendors are invited to submit a response to this sources sought notification on or before Thursday, April 28, 2022, no later than 3:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT) to the attention of Monte Jordan, Contract Specialist, monte.jordan@usda.gov. All questions are asked to be submitted in writing to the Primary Point of Contract and will be addressed accordingly.

Responses to this Notice must be in writing only. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.

Responses should be no more than 10 pages and include the following information:

Organization Name.
Contract Name, e-mail address and phone number.
Organizations SAM UEI
Business size status for the applicable NAICS code.
A statement of interest in any forthcoming acquisition.
A statement of capability to perform details of the requirement.
