Description
For many years, the United States government has worked to help the people of Burma as their country strived for development and progress.
In 2016, the United States relaxed regulations to allow American companies to operate businesses in the country. The US is dedicated to assisting the nation with economic reforms that assist Burma's transition to a strong democracy and improves the lives of its citizens.
There are currently relatively few economic policy limitations and US investment, the importation of Burmese products into the US (except for jadeite and rubies or items incorporating jadeite or rubies) and access to the Burmese banking sector are all permitted.
