What are the benefits of joining DevelopmentAid as a member?

Which payment methods are accepted?
You can make an online payment using VISA, MasterCard, AMEX card, or PayPal. Online payments are processed securely by Adyen, PayPal, or 2Checkout. Alternatively, you can make a bank or Western Union transfer.

What is the difference between a recurrent and a one-time payment?

A recurring subscription to our service offers the benefit of convenience. By selecting the recurrent payment option, you authorize automatic yearly renewal of your membership plan at the same price on the due date using the same payment details held on record unless you cancel your subscription. This payment transaction will appear as "DEVAID Limited" on your credit card statement.

A one-time payment activates membership for one year and requires manual renewal at the expiry date.

How can I update my recurrent payment details?

If you paid for your subscription via PayPal, you will need to log in to your PayPal account, go to My Profile, and update your card or bank details.

If you paid via 2CheckOut, navigate to the Payment Methods area.
Click the Edit button, enter new expiration information, and click Save.

If you require assistance with updating your payment details, contact your Account Manager via https://www.developmentaid.org/contact.

How can I cancel/stop my recurring subscription?

Sign in to your account and go to Plan. Depending on what payment method you used to purchase the subscription, there are several options to cancel it:

If the payment was done via Adyen:
Click the Cancel Subscription button and follow the system instructions to finalize the cancellation process.

If the payment was done via PayPal:
Log in to your PayPal account, navigate to Payments, and click Manage Automatic Payments. Select the subscription you would like to cancel from the list on the left side of the page. Select Cancel at the top of the subscription information. Confirm the cancellation by selecting Cancel Automatic Payments.

If the payment was done via 2Checkout:
To cancel a 2Checkout recurrent payment, contact us via cancellation@developmentaid.org, as we will need to process the cancellation. Please ensure you email us seven days prior to the expiry of your membership in order to avoid the next installment being automatically charged.

How can I become a member or upgrade to another membership plan?
Log in to your account and go to Membership page. Click on Become a Member/Upgrade Membership. Select the package and the payment type you require. Click on your preferred payment method, enter the billing details, and complete the order.
