Global Water Operators’ Partnerships Alliance

The Global Water Operators’ Partnerships Alliance is a network of partners committed to helping water operators help one another improve their collective capacity to provide access to water and sanitation services for all through Water Operators' Partnerships.

Water Operators' Partnerships are peer exchanges between two or more water and sanitation operators on a not-for-process basis. As we globally shift our efforts from the Millennium Development Goals to the Sustainable Development Goals, water and sanitation will become central and cross-cutting issues. Solidarity-based partnerships such as WOPs offer huge potential to increase operator capacity, hereby improving services.

GWOPA facilitates WOPs in close collaboration with its regional partners and provides structure and support to WOPs stakeholders. The Alliance also provides direct operational support to operators engaged in WOPs.
