Ministry of Education in Syria

The Ministry of Education is a government ministry office responsible for education in the Syrian Arab Republic. It is in charge of basic and secondary education as well as private schools, curriculum and learning materials although it is only responsible for the lower levels of education while the Ministry of Higher Education is responsible for higher levels. The Ministry's mission is to ensure access to an equal, inclusive and high-quality education for all children and to provide learning opportunities as well as eliminate the impact of war on the educational process.
