Procurement And Contracting Assistant
Arrange meetings with designated service and equipment providers for technical assessments and logistical arrangements, with local authorities and other people/companies/agencies relevant to the operational aspects of the mission; Defining precise terms of reference for provision of services and goods for efficient functioning of the mission; Liaise with designated providers to track deliveries and check whether orders have been filled; Manage the Mission Inventory;
Ensuring that purchase of goods, services and works are managed in efficient and quality manner, by executing procurement assignments in line with the Mission’s rules and regulations and best business practices; Design of Terms of References, Technical Specifications, timely initiating of procurement processes, coordinating the evaluation process; Supporting quality contract management by supporting negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers and drafting contracts for approval and signature, coordinating contract management, administering contractors’ performance evaluation and contract extensions/ amendments, attending meetings to discuss performance issues or contract disputes;
