Organized by the United Nations, this high-level Meeting on Sustainable Transport takes part in the first-ever UN General Assembly Sustainability Week. This meeting will provide inputs to the implementation plan of the upcoming United Nations Decade of Sustainable Transport 2026 – 2035 and will highlight the importance of sustainable transport in accelerating the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Umberto de Pretto, IRU‘s Secretary General, will deliver remarks as part of the “Multistakeholder panel – enhancing intermodal transport connectivity and developing socially inclusive and environmentally friendly transportation”.
