COWI will be tendering for a GIZ funded project in Ukraine "Technical assistance in the development of low-carbon infrastructure in the water and wastewater sector" under the FELICITY II programme, a joint initiative of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the European Investment Bank (EIB), which supports the preparation and implementation of low carbon infrastructure projects in Eastern Partnership Countries.
The Technical Assistance will focus on the preparation of bankable infrastructure investment projects in the water and wastewater sector. Please see attached ToR for further detail.
We are seeking candidates for the position of Key Expert 2: Water and Wastewater specialist / Deputy Team Leader, with the following qualifications and skills:
- Master’s degree (MSc) in water and wastewater management or MSc in civil engineering with focus on water and wastewater, or MSc in environmental management / engineering with focus on water and wastewater.
- 10 years of professional experience in planning of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including preparation of feasibility studies, designs and tender documents for large infrastructure projects.
- 3 years of project management experience with leadership function for personnel.
- 8 years of professional experience in Ukraine.
- 4 years of professional experience with public authorities, including 2 years in capacity building for public utilities.
- 2 assignments in Eastern Europe, other than Ukraine.
- Holder of Ukrainian CC3 certificate for the design of complex projects.
