Ministry of investment, regional development and informatization of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter only as the “Ministry”) is a central public authority body. The Ministry is a budgetary institution of the government, the revenues and expenditures of which are bound to the state budget.
The main tasks of the Ministry include participation in creation and implementation of the uniform state policy in the field of the use of European Union funds, as well as informatization of the society, and investment. As part of its powers, the Ministry performs tasks concerning management, coordination and supervision of the use of European Union funds in the area of informatization of the society, as well as in the field of investments.
