• Joint op-ed published originally in French dialy paper “Le Monde” co-authored with Hans Eichel (former
Finance Minister of Germany), Paul Magnette (Former Federal Minister Belgium), Jesus Caldera (Former
Labour Minister Spain), Pier Carlo Padoan (former Finance Minister Italy), Stewart Wood (Member house of
Lords, UK), David Smith (former chief economist House of Representatives, US) and Damon Silvers (Director
of Policies, AFL-CIO, US), about: Europe and Multilateralism, also published in English and Portuguese;
• Extensive network in Brussels and in various EU capitals and a proved ability to influence and get to the right
people;
• Strong management and leadership skills, proved by leading two country offices in complex settings such as
Mozambique and Mauritania;
