Dr.Jacob Lisakafu is a Senior lecturer in Politics and International Relations at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the Open University of Tanzania. He is associate Director of Postgraduate studies since 2016. He holds a PhD from the Graduate Centre Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Leipzig, Germany. He has a published a number of articles in a per review journals. His research interests revolve around the current dynamics of International Relations and mechanisms of ensuring global security. Mainly focus on the new African security architecture, international organizations and contemporary diplomacy, Post-conflicts reconstructions, and Security Regionalisms in Africa, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa.
