Description

Project title: European Union High Level Advisors Mission to the Republic of Moldova

Brief description of the project:

Support will be offered to the authorities of Moldova through the assistance to the deployment of EU High Level Advisers and short term non-key experts with the objectives to:

  • strengthen the policy dialogue for the implementation of the Association Agreement;
  • assist the Republic of Moldova in developing the capacities required for the implementation of the Association Agreement, including the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area

Commencement date of the project: January 2023

Duration of the assignment: 24 months

Requirements:

Qualifications and skills 

  • University degree in the field of Political Science, Economics, Law or any other related field. 
  • Excellent written and spoken English. 

General professional experience 

  • At least 12 years of proven professional experience in general project management, including: people management, strategic planning, risk management, conflict management, change management.  
  • Proven experience as team leader of at least two TA of a minimum of 220 working days duration. 

Specific professional experience 

  • At least 5 years of proven professional experience in the management of EU-funded and/or co-funded projects. 
  • Experience of at least 3 years in classic Project Management, with proven knowledge of project management techniques and tools; 
  • Experience of at least 1 year in human resources management; 
  • Strong understanding of the EU policies and institutional set-up;  
  • Familiarity with the European Commission's administrative and financial procedures will be an asset; 
  • Familiarity with Moldova’s current geopolitical situation and priorities at the policy level would be an asset.
