The Role
The role will include supporting the region with international project management, business development activities, as well as general administration for the region.
The Regional Manager / Regional Assistant Manager will typically spend the following time on work areas:
• 50% business development
• 40% project management, administration & support, fee earning
• 10% administration and internal finance

The SASEA team
The team is a small team currently consisting of a Regional Director, a Regional Associate Director, Regional Project Manager and a Regional Assistant Consultant.

IMC South & Southeast Asia & Pacific region has successfully managed and delivered over 100 development project and programmes over the past 65 years, throughout twenty countries. We have worked for a wide range of clients including FCDO, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Green Climate Financing and Governments of Nepal, Bangladesh, and Tonga.

We currently have three operational offices in the region: Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Our largest portfolio of projects sits within these countries with a total current programme value of over £25 million in Nepal, £7 million in Bangladesh and £163 million in Pakistan. Other countries where we are working, or have worked recently, include Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, India, Tonga, and Solomon Islands.

We are in the process of establishing Nepal as a hub office for the region, given that it is in many ways is our “flagship” country as we have a presence spanning nearly forty years. Within the next twelve months, it is envisaged that the Kathmandu office will become the financial, administrative and HR hub for the region. Further, the intention is to capitalise on specific business areas where we have good access to talents, which offer value for money, and where we can develop centres of excellent in key service areas.

Although the team are headquartered in South London, the SASEA & Pacific team is in Redhill, Spain, Kathmandu, and Dhaka. There is an excellent working environment within the team, which is informal and creative, but we are uncompromising on the quality of work we deliver to clients.
