International Expert for Social, Health, and Safety

·      Coordination and supervision of the Social, Health, and Safety (SHS) topics in all project components.

·      Review and planning of the required deliverables regarding SHS in all components, including review of timeline and coordination with the rest of the team ; including (planning) capacity building of local institutions and NGOs. For this, assess the tasks to be pursued in the project related to SHS; and the tasks and documents already submitted (including Resettlement, Gender, Stakeholder engagement, and grievance resolution issues). 

·      Evaluate and list tasks/deliverables to be pursued in terms of SHS in all components; assess the current SHS team and assign tasks accordingly; advice if additional capacities/resources are  needed to pursue planned tasks. In particular, assess the  supervision during construction activities.

·      Coordinate with the ESHS team and guide the local experts regarding E&S topics.

·   The consultant must have minimum Masters' level qualifications, 20 years relevant experience and should have worked in at least 5 countries outside his home country
