About the Wajibika Programme:

The Wajibika programme, funded by the U.K. Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Tanzania, is a multi-year initiative designed to span over 6 years. Its primary goal is to achieve three strategic outcomes: 1) to support effective civic space and inclusive political processes. 2) To advocate for media freedom and access to information, and 3) to enhance the Government of Tanzania (GoT) knowledge, determination, and capacity for public service reforms.  Through this programme, our aim is to empower Tanzanian citizens and foster increased accountability and responsiveness within the Tanzanian government. We are committed to fostering positive change and promoting sustainable development for the benefit of all Tanzanians.
