Team Leader, Agriculture Specialist

As the Agriculture specialist, the expert will support local policy makers with all tasks requiring this expertise, including for food security matters. As team leader (TL), the expert will ensure regular coordination and monitoring of all tasks and activities during the implementation of the contract and is responsible for all SOs and specialised in agriculture policy activities. The TL will be overall responsible for the deliverables and will work closely together with the other expert.

Qualifications required:
Have a master’s university degree in agro science or agriculture or in its absence a bachelor degree or equivalent diploma as well as 3 years professional experience above the general professional experience.

Professional experience required:
Have at least 2 experiences on relevant EU- funded programmes, preferably with the drafting, organizational set up and and implementation of agriculture and food security policies and programming. • Expertise in the area of agriculture, ago-processing and ago-business in the Caribbean and/or Latin America or OCTs/SIDS in particular is added value. • Knowledge of research and innovation in sustainable food systems would be an asset.
