We are currently seeking a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager (DEI) to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role

As our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager, you will design and deliver our DEI strategies, ensuring their successful implementation and execution.

Developing and project managing our DEI action plan, you will implement initiatives that support open discussions, shared learning and a culture where DEI considerations become fully embedded in all areas of our work.

Collaborating with members of the Equity and Justice Committee, you will support the growth of internal communities in a way that best serves our DEI objectives.

Additionally, you will:

- Provide oversight, monitoring and reporting on key objectives from the DEI strategy
- Develop and support the implementation of our diversity calendar
- Develop resources and programmes that improve understanding of DEI issues
- Assist with developing systems for data collection and analysis
- Co-ordinate the execution of internal and external communications regarding DEI
- Plan, design and manage our social responsibility initiatives

About You

To be considered as our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager, you will need:

- Experience in DEI in a professional environment
- Experience promoting, developing and delivering interventions that support understanding of inclusion issues, provide practical tools and are accessible to diverse audiences
- Experience delivering and embedding culture change in organisations
- Experience initiating and implementing Social Responsibility programmes
- Experience of coaching and facilitating conversations and mediation processes
- An understanding of broader HR issues and legislation

The closing date for this role is 10th September 2023.
Interviews are expected to take place in the week commencing 20th September 2023.

IIED is a hybrid working organisation, and you are likely to be working from home most of the time, therefore please ensure that you have the right work set up to be able to participate in IIED activities, e.g. attending virtual meetings.
