Call for Experts - USAID ACCELERATE Activity

Purpose 

DT Global seeks experienced Full-Time (Lead positions) and Short-Term Technical Assistance (Specialist positions) candidates for the anticipated USAID-funded Advancing Commerce, Connectivity, and Exports Leading to Economic Readiness for Accession to The EU (ACCELERATE) Project. This five-year activity will aim to support the advancement of European Union (EU) market integration and accession for focus countries in the E&E region (Western Balkans, Caucasus, Ukraine, Moldova). The project is anticipated to begin in September 2024. 

Under the guidance of the Chief of Party (COP), the project will be implemented by a range of technical and operational long-term and short-term experts, and accordingly DT Global is looking for qualified candidates with expertise and experience in the following fields: 

Operations: 

• Senior Project Operations and Management 
• Finance 
• Grants and Subcontracting 
• Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) 
• Strategic Communications 

Technical: 

• Trade Facilitation: Customs Harmonization, Export Promotion, eCommerce/Digital Trade, Supply Chain Logistics, Trade Policy 
• Access to Finance: Alternative Finance, Financial Innovation, SME and Start-Up Investment, Microfinance, Transaction Advisory, Fintech 
• EU Accession Process: Legislative Reform 
• Investment Transparency: Investment Policy, eGovernance, eProcurement, Beneficial Ownership, Investment Regulatory Frameworks, Anti-Corruption and Anti-Money Laundering 
• Digitalization 

Minimum Requirements 

Lead Positions 

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical sector, Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of ten years’ experience providing relevant expertise on humanitarian and or development programs, preferably with USAID and in the Europe & Eurasia region.
• At least five years of management or team leadership experience on donor-funded projects.
• English proficiency (written and spoken) is required.  

Specialist Positions 

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical sector.
• Minimum of five years’ experience providing technical expertise on humanitarian and or development programs, preferably with USAID and in the Europe & Eurasia region.
• At least three years of management or team leadership experience.
• English proficiency (written and spoken) is required.
