???? EQUINOCCIO, Compañía de Comercio Exterior S.L is looking for a Key Expert: Project Manager for the project “Lot 3: Policy Dialogue and Public Diplomacy Facility – New Zealand”
· The normal place of posting for Key Expert: Project Manager-New Zealand will be New Zealand (preferably Wellington).
· Duration of the contract: 3 years.
· The intended start date is 2 December 2024
· Position: full time
Lot 3: Policy Dialogue and Public Diplomacy Facility – New Zealand
Key Expert: Project Manager – New Zealand
Key expert: Project Manager – New Zealand will be responsible for management of the country-specific component of this project, i.e. for planning of project activities in New Zealand, for ensuring coherence between different project activities in New Zealand, for review of proposals for project activities in New Zealand, for drafting the ToRs for project activities in New Zealand and their realisation; and for implementation and monitoring of project activities in New Zealand. S/he will act as the main interlocutor for the EU Delegation to New Zealand in the day-to-day management of the contract, reporting to FPI Project Manager on New Zealand-specific activities, and for maintenance of regular communication with other relevant EU services, as requested by the EU Delegation to New Zealand or FPI Project Manager; (s)he will be tasked to prepare New Zealand-specific material for the Project Steering Committees; and will be responsible for achievement of the project’s objectives in New Zealand. S/he will be directly in charge of coordination on project activities in New Zealand with the support of selected Non-Key Experts. S/he will ensure smooth implementation, regular information on progress, and proper EU visibility in all activities conducted under the project to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications and skills
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent diploma in social sciences, political sciences, international relations, law, economics, business or other discipline of relevance to the subjects of this contract.
• Excellent speaking, drafting and editing skills in English (C1 level). Knowledge of Māori language will be considered an asset.
• Proven advanced analytical skills and computer literacy are considered an asset.
General professional experience
• Minimum ten years (2200 working days) of post-undergraduate professional experience in project management.
• Minimum two years (440 working days) of post-undergraduate professional experience in project management as a project Team Leader/coordinator with a supervisory role.
Specific professional experience
• Minimum five years (1100 working days) of post-graduate professional experience of working in one of the relevant fields, such as political/international/cultural/economic/trade/legal/ business/etc. affairs, public/cultural diplomacy, media, communication, academic research, etc.
• Minimum three years (660 working days) of working experience in New Zealand.
