Data Management Specialist

Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Data Management Specialist to join our team for an upcoming, ADB funded Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project in Philippines.

The project aims to enhance: flood and climate change resilience that is consistent with the Philippines Development Plan of 2023-2028 (PDP). The project’s major outcome is to reduce flood risk in three river basins.

The individual will be responsible for the following tasks:

•           Review existing information systems;
•       Develop the detailed design of the hardware and software components of AMIS-FRM and prepare the TOR for AMIS-FRM application development;
•       Support the system development contractor in the system and database design;
•       Provide quality management of the AMIS-FRM applications;
•       Develop manuals and training materials on the AMIS-FRM; and
•       Provide training on the operation of the field data collection system and database management system to the DPWH staff. 

Required Qualifications:

•       The Data Management Specialist must have a minimum bachelor degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), engineering or equivalent.
•       Have a minimum 10 years of professional experience including 8 years’ experience in designing, developing, and implementing information communication systems.
•        The Data Management Specialist must have experience and knowledge on hardware 7-20 system environment, software and network configuration, and operation and maintenance of asset management information system applications.
