Short terme expert on flexible digesters for biogas production in rural areas - SRI LANKA
Project: ECODAIRY 2024-2026. Support for the productive and ecological transition of livestock models and value chains.
Completion: 1st half of 2025
Duration: 21 days in 3 missions
Mission : installation of two flexible digesters for training and demonstration purposes in rural areas
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Identification of two sites in 2 family dairy farms
- Preparation of plans, installation notice and operating & maintenance guide
- Installation of two flexi-digesters
- Orientation of livestock technicians and farmers on methanization and on domestic biogas production with flexi digesters
- On-the job training
Qualifications and experience required:
- Proven practical experience of setting up, managing and using of flexible digesters for rural biogas production.
- Experience in international consultancy, preferably in South Asia and/or tropical regions
- Working and writing language: English
