This is a 3 to 6 month mandate in La Paz or Cochabamba, Bolivia.
The mandate is under the Equality in Action Volunteer Cooperation Program (VCP), which takes place in 12 countries and 3 regions over an eight-year period (2020-2028).
The VCP aims to increase the involvement of local partners in countries of intervention in inclusive, innovative and sustainable initiatives that will advance gender equality. Oxfam's role is to support these organizations, working with the most vulnerable and marginalized people, to claim and exercise their rights. Oxfam places the rights of women, girls, and vulnerable and marginalized people at the heart of everything it does.
Here's what your daily life will look like:
In close collaboration with Oxfam's in-country team members and the partners, your mandate will be to:
- Support the local partner organization in producing feminist content focused on gender justice and human rights for a variety of audiences (through social media, press releases, print media, newsletters, etc.);
- Support the management of institutional social networks, virtual platforms and the development of audiovisual dissemination material for awareness-raising and training of allied populations and with whom the local partner organization works (access to youth, feminist approach);
- Support in the monitoring and analysis of the impact, penetration and coverage of the campaigns carried out in social networks, conventional and alternative media;
- Strengthen the capacities of the local partner organization through the joint creation of spaces for the exchange of knowledge and training for the production of printed and audiovisual content.
For this mandate you must:
- Be a Canadian citizen.a or have permanent resident status in Canada;
- Have a university degree in graphic design, technology, communications or any other relevant field;
- Have at least 2 years of experience relevant to the mandate (in content creation for traditional and emerging media and in evaluating web campaign results);

Be fluent in Spanish, spoken and written (required);

Master the Office suite.
