Description

The purpose of this contract is to support the Government of Malaysia in selecting, adapting and implementing suitable economic and regulatory policy instruments to promote sustainable consumption and production (SCP), thereby enhancing the long-term sustainability of Malaysian consumption and production patterns. Technical assistance will be provided to support the development of a national SCP policy by strengthening the institutional framework, monitoring systems and action plans. Demonstration projects in selected sectors will serve to test and highlight the benefits of SCP and encourage greater uptake of SCP practices in the country.
