The first water supply system in Tuzla was built on 2.12.1910. years. The then mayor, Osman Vilovic, could not better accompany the first decade of the twentieth century. It opened a modern water supply system and created conditions for better life of citizens and continued development of Tuzla.

The construction of the first water supply system in Tuzla was in the context of general development, modernization and revival of Tuzla, which culminated in the first decade of the 20th century. The arrival of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy in these areas meant the Europeanization and modernization of our Earth. Tuzla introduced a modern way of managing the city, registering real estate and rights thereto. cadastre and land register, began with the design and construction of factories, roads, railways, administrative, cultural, leisure buildings, with the construction of schools, parks and squares. From Tuzla, she grew up into a beautiful and modern Central European city.
