Mediothek Afghanistan

Mediothek Afghanistan is a non-profit non-government organization committed to peace and democracy in Afghanistan.

Mediothek Afghanistan was established in 2001 as a non-profit organization in Afghanistan. It has a highly decentralized structure in Afghanistan, with community centers and media houses in various provinces.

Mediothek Afghanistan e. V. was founded in Germany in the year 1993 with the aim of strengthening education in Afghanistan and keeping the Afghan cultural and intellectual heritage alive. Since 1995 the organization has worked within the country, running various school and research projects. With the Petersberg Peace Process starting in 2001 our focus shifted to peace building and the promotion of a democratic culture.
