Committee for Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Tarnów / Komitet Opieki nad Zabytkami Kultury Żydowskiej w Tarnowie - for the purposes of specific activities, e.g. the organization of the Galician Jews' Remembrance Days, Galicjaner Shtetl , cleaning up the cemetery and other works, other interested parties also get involved in the activities of the Committee. Our compatriots, descendants of Tarnów Jews, who gather around the Committee, play an important role, creating a special network supporting its activities, both emotionally and financially. They are also active on the Internet, acting as an intermediary in genealogical and historical searches and maintaining bonds among all those involved in the activities of the Committee.
