IPED - Institute of Private Enterprise Development

The Institute of Private Enterprise Development (IPED) provides loans (maximum: GY$20M), business advice and training to entrepreneurs, micro, small and medium-sized businesses.

IPED was incorporated on Oct 02, 1985 as a non-profit but not-for-charity company limited by guarantee.

The activities of the Institute are overlooked by a Board of nine non-executive directors all of whom provide their services on a voluntary basis. This is one of the hallmarks of our successes for 25 years, since we have men and women who work in the interest of our society, selflessly not expecting a reward.
