The University of Aleppo is a leading governmental scientific institution with a long tradition that works within the framework of the Syrian educational, cultural and service policy of the Syrian Arab Republic and seeks to prepare effective and creative national scientific cadres by providing an environment that allows the continuous development of educational, research and educational programs, In order to continuously communicate with the scientific and cultural development in the world, and to meet the needs of the renewed society in order to achieve comprehensive and sustainable human development and enable national, regional and global competition. The Faculty of Engineering in Aleppo, with the advent of Independence Day in 1946, was affiliated to the Syrian University in Damascus. This college formed the core nucleus of Aleppo University when it was established in 1958. The University's attention has been focused on completing the scientific construction by establishing new colleges, institutes and centers and preparing the necessary scientific and technical frameworks for building the advanced Arab society and equipping them with the latest scientific laboratories and equipments to witness a qualitative development in their curricula and study plans. Thanks to its civilizational facilities, advanced facilities, advanced specialties and quality of curricula to achieve a modern shift in university education in its scientific, educational and research aspects, and linking it to the needs of economic and social development And keep up with the consciousness of scientific and technical development in the world and to enhance the role of the university in the development of scientific skills and creative capacity of human resources and build a national database of technical staff in various disciplines.
