About
Océinde is an industrial and family group founded by Abdéali Goulamaly and managed today by his two children, Azmina and Nassir Goulamaly.
Abdéali Goulamaly has created a major industrial group in the region on Reunion Island. He is behind the development of the tropical chemistry branch with the creation of a cluster of laboratories, manufacturing plants and distribution networks.
It then diversified its activities towards southern fishing and was, alongside the State, one of the major players in the organization of the satellite fight against piracy in order to preserve the resources of the Kerguelen Islands. This armament will be at the origin of the seafood branch of the Océinde group. Finally, it implemented the first French GSM telephone network in 1995 in Reunion then in Madagascar in 1996 in partnership with France Telecom. He still plays an active role in the development of the group, assisted in his mission by his two children, Nassir and Azmina Goulamaly.
