About

The history of the Strakonice hospital dates back to 1892. Currently, approximately 14,500 patients are hospitalized and 140,000 outpatient treatments are performed. 

The hospital is founded by the South Bohemian Region, it has eight inpatient wards with 306 beds for acute and follow-up care and a wide range of specialist outpatient care. The natural catchment areas are the areas of Strakonicka, Klatovska, Prachaticka and Písecka.
