Motus Terrae has chosen a function that differs slightly from that of a theater group. Its main concern is to create conditions under which artists from various areas can meet and co-create. So it is not about a closed group, but more about a theater-centric core.
The goals of the movement expressed by Motus Terrae, in addition to the creation of theatrical events, find ground in the creation of intercultural networks (intercultural networking) and in research through the education of both the communities of the theatrical expression itself, as well as its recipients.

The many years of experience and the cooperation of the company's institutions with troupes and festivals abroad have shaped an open and fresh look in relation to the needs of the Greek theater scene today.
Motus Terrae started its activity in the field of cultural events in 2004 and since 2008 has been operating in the form of an urban non-profit company.

Motus Terrae has chosen as a field of action both the theater in the Public space (site specific performances and street shows), as well as the theater of closed space through a research, physical approach. Within the context of its activity, the educational sector plays an important role, which is expressed through the organization and animation of seminars around the above forms of performing arts.
