About

The Bank

The Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Roma is a cooperative society with a prevalent mutuality.

It was established in 1954 on the outskirts of the capital as a rural and artisan bank of the Agro Romano on the initiative of 38 cooperating members.

From that single original branch today it has a network of 189 agencies distributed in Lazio, internal Abruzzo and Veneto.

As of December 31, 2018, it has 33,952 members, 388,583 thousand customers and 1,550 employees.

It is a member of the Iccrea Cooperative Banking Group, made up of 140 member institutions, present in 1720 Municipalities with 2,600 branches. The Group's total assets are around 150 billion, net loans are equal to 83 billion and the net assets are higher than 11 billion.

The Bank is responsibly engaged in social activities in the territories in which it operates. A "different" way of banking consistent with its cooperative nature.
