Springvale House (Peterhouse Group of Schools)

Peterhouse is a group of schools which consists of Peterhouse Boys, Peterhouse Girls, Springvale House Preparatory School and Peterhouse Nursery school. Peterhouse is widely regarded as Zimbabwe’s top independent boarding school and one of the premier independent schools in Southern Africa. The Peterhouse Group is led by the Rector, Mr Jon Trafford; he also has responsibility on a day-to-day basis for Peterhouse Boys. Peterhouse Girls is led by its Headmistress, Mrs Claire Hough and Springvale House Preparatory School is led by its Headmaster, Mr Paul Martin. The Rector and the Headmasters of Peterhouse Girls and Springvale House are all members of the Conference of Heads of Independent Schools in Zimbabwe (CHISZ) and the Rector is an overseas member of The Headmasters’ and Headmistresses’ Conference (HMC) which represents the top 350 independent schools in the UK and across the globe.
