PCB Management Project

1. 2.                 The Project Management Board of the Project "PCB Management in Vietnam" has received a grant from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) (acting as an Implementing of the Global Environment Facility), and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the contract for the following consulting service CS4/ISEA? National PCB Action Plan.
   1. 3.                 This consulting assignment includes the following tasks:

-          To gather information and to review the updated PCB inventories results; analysis and assessment of legal basis, current situation and capacity of PCB management in Vietnam;.

-          To propose, to develop and to finalize the contents of National PCB Action Plan;

-          To organize consultation meetings and workshops; getting feedbacks and comments from Central and provincial management organizations and relevant stakeholders for National PCB ActionPlan;

-          To review and to assess impact of National PCB Action Plan before submission for authorized approval; and

-          To support VEA/ISEA PMU in National PCB Action Plan submission for authorized approval.  

The expected implementation period is from Jun., 2013 until Oct., 2014.

4.        The Vietnam Environment Administration/Industrial Safety Techniques and Environment Agency Project Management Board (VEA/ISEA PMU)now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (firm's eligibility documents, brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

5.         A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004, revised October 2006 for the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method of selection. Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below from 8:00 am 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
