The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply & Delivery of Age-Appropriate Furniture (Tables, Chairs, Book Shelves, Reading Corners & Boards) as per below lots for ECE to Class 3 in selected 3400 Schools in 11 Districts (43 Tehsils) of Punjab.

   The Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply & Delivery of Age-Appropriate Furniture.

    Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB)  as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers: Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services dated July 1, 2016; and revised August 2018” (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

      Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from PHCIP during office hours i.e. 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given below.

      The bidding document in English language may be downloaded by interested eligible Bidders from the website: https://www.pesrp.edu.pk/procurement. Pre-Bid Meeting shall be held on 1500 hours November 05, 2022 in PMIU office which may be attended virtually through Zoom on request at pms1.hci.pmiu@gmail.com.

     Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 21st November, 2022 by 11:00 AM. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids shall be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 21st November, 2022 by 11:30 AM.

       All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of @2% of the bid value in shape of CDR, or Unconditional Bank Guarantee.
