1. The TURKISH ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION CORPORATION (TE?A?) has received a Loan from the International Bank for Reconstructionand Development (IBRD) in various currencies towards the cost of Energy Community of South East Europe (ECSEE APL-6) Project. It isintended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments underthe contract for 380 kV Kartal GasInsulated Substation (GIS).

2. The TURKISH ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION CORPORATION (TE?A?) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction andcompletion of following Work: Supply of substation Goods testing, transport, delivery, services required at customs and storage atsite, engineeringand design services, complete erection, construction, installation, supervision, civil works, commissioning, sitetesting and handing over in satisfactory operating condition of 380 kV Kartal GIS Substation. International competitive biddingwill be conducted in accordance with the Bank's Single-Stage Bidding Procedure.

4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interestedbidders on the submission of a written application to theabove and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TL 450.- or US$ 250.- (V.A.T included).

5. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the BankStandard Bidding Documents:  Procurement of Plant, Design, Supply and Installation.
