The Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP) is a SIX year program that will be implemented from 2019 to 2025. LLRP will be funded by International Development Association (IDA), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and beneficiary community contribution. The Gambella National Regional State which was panned to facilitate and improve the Livelihood Resilience of Pastoral and Agro-Pastoral Communities in the region. The Gambella Lowlands Livelihoods Resilience Project (LLRP) has established its office at Gambella city, 01 kebele in front of Ras Gobena Primary School around New land area of the region.

The Bureau has been undertaking the study, design and construction of different infrastructure projects under the IRDM sub-component in 8 woredas of the Gambella Region. Accordingly, the bureau seeks to invite a roster of companies /firms with technically and financially competent who will be invited for the Feasibility Study and Detail Design of one Bridge Structure Works.

Therefore, Gambella Lowlands Livelihoods Resilience Project (LLRP) invites proficient, eligible, reputed companies/firm having license on consulting firm for the design of one medium span bridge design works and those interested to work with the Bureau to submit sealed prequalification application for expression of interest.

BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK

The main objective of this EOI is to provide the Feasibility Study and Detail Design of one medium span Bridge Structure projects located in Gambella Region/Makuey Woreda. The consultants shall execute contractually to be agreed works in accordance with the provided technical specification to be given together with this EOI.

The main project activities to be carried out by the companies/firm shall carry out the final design outputs on the Feasibility Study and Detail Design of one medium span bridge structure project. Quality of the works shall strictly comply with national and international standards and experiences. Detail speciation and quantity of the required works will be specified or given after shortlisting of qualified consultants as depends on the quality of the offers.

Interested companies/firms must submit their detail expression of Interests to the Gambella Lowlands Livelihoods Resilience Project (LLRP) prequalification application and submit relevant document/information/ as to demonstrate that they are eligible and qualified to perform the required design outputs of Feasibility Study and Detail Design of above stated project and when required by the bureau. The result of the EOI and draft submitted technical qualification and past work experiences will be used for selecting the best possible consultants for next financial evaluation purpose. The Gambella Lowlands Livelihoods Resilience Project (LLRP) bureau encourages the firms or companies from all regional states to submit application for prequalification with supporting documents. 

The applicants should consider the following application procedures and documents:

1. The application shall bear all costs related to preparation and submission of this expression of interest. The Gambella Lowlands Livelihoods Resilience Project (LLRP) bureau will not be responsible or liable for those costs regardless of the result of the selection process
2. Incorrect, incomplete and inadequate application may lead to rejection of the application
3. All documents must be submitted in English Language
4. Applicants may be requested for clarification on submitted document
5. The Gambella Lowlands Livelihoods Resilience Project (LLRP) bureau has the right to reject the application without communicating the consultant
6. The Gambella Lowlands Livelihoods Resilience Project (LLRP) bureau will provide explanation to applicants related to shortlisting and selection process, in this respect, the Gambella Lowlands Livelihoods Resilience Project (LLRP) bureau’s decision shall be final and binding for all applicants.
7. International companies are not allowed to participate in this EOI as it being run locally in Ethiopia.
