Title: Study on Potential EU Earth-Observation Services for Governmental Use
Description: The main objective of this study is to analyse the feasibility of a European Union’s Earth-Observation service restricted to government-authorised users at EU and EU Member States levels for sensitive applications in the areas of security and defence. This initiative is identified in the EU space strategy for security and defence. The outcome of the study will provide the necessary elements for the Commission to assess the different viable technical and programmatic options for the potential future development and full operations of this service in the EU multiannual financial framework 2028-2034.The procurement will award up to two contracts, each with a maximum value of EUR 2 500 000.
