  1. The Angolan Ministry of Health has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Regional Disease Surveillance Systems Enhancement Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards the Procurement of: Twenty-one (21) vehicles to support the directorate health municipalities in the 18 provinces of the country. “For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.”]
  1. The Regional Disease Surveillance Systems Enhancement Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of 21 SUV vehicles – hardtop station wagon with 10 seats, to support the directorate health municipalities in the 18 provinces of the country, to be delivered using the Incoterms- Carriage and Insurance Paid (CIP 2020), Final Destination (Project Site) is Luanda – Angola, as indicated on ITB 14.8. The delivery period is as follows: earliest delivery date is 30 days and latest delivery date is 60 days, after Contract adjudication.
  1. Bidding will be conducted through International competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” 2016 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  1.   1. Bids must be delivered to the address below on the 15th of January, 2024, no later than 12H00 (WAT). Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 15th of January, 2024 at 12H30 (WAT).
  1. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.
  1. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
