NC for the review and assessment of policies and institutional frameworks and their alignment with the Global Biodiversity Framework

Objectives: The project aims to enhance readiness and early action for the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. It provides financial and technical support to eligible parties of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity. The key objectives include aligning national strategies and action plans for biodiversity conservation with global biodiversity targets, assessing monitoring systems, ensuring policy and institutional alignment with the Global Biodiversity Framework, and enhancing biodiversity financing activities. The expected outcomes are effective, action-driven, inclusive national strategies aligned with global standards.
