RE-ADVERTISEMENT: TA-8696 PRC: Guizhou Vocational Education Development Program

The objective of the assignment is to conduct an employer-based survey and labor market analysis in Guizhou Province. A survey and reserach firm will be engaged (on a lump-sum basis) to undertake an employer-based survey and conduct a labor market analysis in the priority sectors (such as modern manufcaturing, logistics, biotechnology, etc.). The firm will hold consultations with the Guizhou Provincial Government counterparts to identify priority sectors and industries to cover, and the issues relating to TVET in the province; the firm will prepare the survey instruments and conduct the survey, undertake analysis and prepare a comprehensive report. This will provide valuable information ot update the sector assessment, and to inform the design of the program. The firm will have expertise in data and research in the area of employment and TVET.
